The Northwest Territories Amateur Boxing & Kickboxing Association was founded in 2019 as part of Sport North.

NWT Boxing & Kickboxing through its member clubs provides:

• An opportunity for individuals to participate at all levels of amateur boxing and kickboxing. 
• Individual clubs develop their own programs with the guidance of the Territorial Sports Organization (TSO) and the National Coaches Certification Programs.
• The TSO conducts coaching and officials clinics and athlete development camps. 

The NWT Boxing & Kickboxing Board of Directors meets annually. 

All Funding for NWT Boxing & Kickboxing is provided through the Western Lottery, MACA, and fundraising events.
